A Narrative Approach             -            April 2013

One of main challenges posed by working in the landscape is the transfer of the experience to the gallery. In an attempt to explore a new perspective, and to convey the humour encountered in the landscape, I reinvented myself as an eccentric psychogeographer and parodied my own work in three short films, ‘To the Source of the Usk’, Secrets of Burnmoor’ and ‘The Forbidden City’, under the general heading Tripping Yarns: The Fabulous Journeys of Dr. Robinson K And His Interesting Artistic Equipment. The video displayed here shows highlights from the three films.
