The River Usk rises from from a collection of springs at the foot of the mountains of the Carmarthen Fan, in the Western Brecon Beacons National Park, South Wales.
After flowing through winding gorges cut through glacial morraine it crosses a small plateau near Glassynt where there is a car park. The Neolithic / Bronze Age ritual complex at Nant Tawr is nearby.
I have placed my sculpture in this area for several years.
